Our goal is to be the most technically knowledgeable, fastest-reacting, and detail-oriented representative firm in the territory. We are based in the Philadelphia area covering the standard EIA Mid-Atlantic territory.

We are an energetic firm specializing in providing higher-performance products, and we have extensive backgrounds in the consumer electronics industry.

Jeff Allen - President: As owner of The Aurora Group, Jeff has been involved in the consumer electronics industry since 1973 as the leading salesperson for three different retail operations. In 1991, he joined Miller Marketing as a manufacturer’s representative and was responsible for over 65% of the company’s sales. In September of 1998, he purchased Miller Marketing and renamed the company The Aurora Group.

Jay Cary - Vice President: Jay started selling specialty Hi-Fi in 1978. After managing stores for Bryn Mawr Stereo until 1992, he joined Klipsch and Associates as their Mid-Atlantic Sales Manager. 1996 saw Jay become the VP of Sales and Marketing for Assured Systems and helped start the HES buying group to assist Specialty AV retailers. Jay comes to the Aurora Group having last served as Regional Market Manager for the Bose Corporation's Custom Solutions Group where he helped develop marketing materials and was instrumental in establishing their distributor program.

Trish Allen - Office Manager: Teri is responsible for the daily business aspects of the company including, but not limited to, processing orders, fielding client calls, and handling most office functions.

Dave Shealy - Operations/Warehouse Manager: Dave has been working in the industry for 12 years, beginning with big-box retail in his hometown in New Mexico before progressing onto custom A/V when he moved to PA in 2005. Dave joined the Aurora Group in the summer of 2011. Among his duties at Aurora Dave handles shipping and receiving, office display and system maintenance, inside sales, and warehouse organization. He also possesses a strong technical aptitude for programming URC remote products and is able to assist our dealers with those and other issues.
